Dr. Allison Jacobs was born and raised in Southern California and attended college at the University of California, Irvine. The last two years of her program, she found herself researching parasites in cow pie.
Her weird fascination with parasites, pushed her to obtain a masters degree in veterinary parasitology at Texas A&M University, College Station. While there, two sparks ignited - she met her husband and realized her dream to be a veterinarian.
Dr. Jacobs and her husband had the opportunity to live in the Pacific Northwest where she received her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Oregon State University. After having their first child, they made a list of all they wanted in a place to call home and that is how they landed in Georgetown, Texas.
Since then, Dr. Jacobs has brightened the lives of many clients and patients. She simply loves life and is always looking for ways to make things better. As a veterinarian, she provides tailored care to every patient so they live their best lives for as long as possible.
At home she has a cat, two mischievous dogs and a 28-year-old ball python. She loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and two boys camping, hiking, and kayaking. Most of the time though, you'll find her in her garden (with a pick-axe and mosquito spray), making it a happy place for all to enjoy.
