Welcome to Old Town Veterinary Hospital, your local veterinarians in the beautiful historic district of Georgetown, Texas.
We’re pleased to provide a wide variety of veterinary services for animals in Georgetown and the surrounding areas.
The opening of Old Town Veterinary Hospital has been the fulfillment of a lifelong ambition for Dr. Erica Haley, owner of Georgetown Veterinary Hospital since 2005. Dr. Haley has been a veterinarian since 2001 and a small business owner and an active member of this community for over 15 years. During that time, she has witnessed the tremendous growth of the Georgetown area. Dr. Haley has dedicated her career to providing compassionate whole-animal veterinary care to the amazing pets in the Central Texas community. To do this effectively, she believes the veterinarian, the pet health care team, and the pet parent must form a partnership with one common goal in mind – working together to meet the individual needs of each pet that comes through our doors.
With the rapid area growth, Dr. Haley saw the need for more opportunities for quality veterinary care for the people and pets in Georgetown. She worked with a family friend and developer who shares her vision to build a “sister” location to Georgetown Veterinary Hospital and brought Old Town Veterinary Hospital to life.
Nestled in Georgetown’s historic district, Old Town Veterinary Hospital's mission is to strengthen the human-animal bond through quality veterinary care and offer opportunities for education to our staff, our clients, and our community. Our hospital will be an active participant in the community and plans to work with the local schools and universities to develop outreach programs and learning opportunities for the youth of Georgetown.
Old Town Veterinary Hospital is strategically located in an area easily accessible to all, but conveniently in a part of Georgetown needing veterinary support. At Old Town Veterinary Hospital, it’s your neighborhood and we’re your veterinarian.
What We Do
We strive to provide excellence in care for companion pets and therapy animals including dogs and cats for the Central Texas community. We believe that preventative medicine is the key to our patient's well-being and that is supported by comprehensive medical, diagnostic, and surgical care. Providing excellent customer service to the incredible clients who bring our patients in to see us goes hand in hand.
From its conception, Dr. Haley had the vision to use the hospital’s resources to educate future generations. We have a well-developed program for facilitating home school tours and vet-for-a-day opportunities for elementary-aged students. We partner with local high schools to give students an opportunity to complete their Certified Veterinary Assistant certifications. Additionally, we have college students from around the world who come to complete their externships to become veterinarians.
Old Town Veterinary Hospital will continue to be a leader in the field by educating ourselves and the community about new advances in veterinary medicine. We will put our patients first and work with their pet parents to maintain the continuity of the human-animal bond. Our employees will be empowered to share their ideas and give each client and patient a personalized experience.
